Braces

Why are people so vain? I have a beautiful girlfriend and she went absolutely bananas when she got her braces. She is now refusing to smile in a failing attempt to hide them. We all know that they are there...she doesn't realize just how beautiful she is when she smiles. Now don't get me wrong I think she is always beautiful, but when she smiles her whole face lights up. She does not seem to realize that when she smiles more than her lips and teeth show that she is happy. She smiles with every part of her face when she smiles. Her eyes especially show her emotions when she smiles, but now that she is forcing herself not to smile she just looks sad. I think it is ridiculous that she is making herself look miserable because she thinks its a better alternative to her happy smiling face. Sure she has braces but trust me she looks better with braces then I thought possible...well sorry I wasted an entire post on my girlfriend...
