Holla to all my vegetarians

Today I found out that frozen vegetables actually have more nutrients in them then the fresh ones. Evidently from the day that they are picked they begin losing nutrients and thats uber bad. The full article can be found here...check it out

I also found a rad blog that has a whole bunch of tofu recipes on it which makes me happy the blog is here it is an amazing blog!

If any of you guys out there reading this(idk if there are any) have some advice I welcome it leave me a comment or send me an email www.guywithhats@yahoo.com or an im for aol salamndstron

'ello! Froz veg versus fresh, eh? When you can get good, locally-grown, organic veg (and fruit, for that matter), I'd go for that over the frozen any day. Not only does it taste so much better, but there is none of the carbon footprint you get from processing then shelpping the frozen stuff.

But, come winter, when veg like, say, peas are scarce and you've just got to have them, then I'd go for frozen over canned any day (I hate that tin taste). But, still, there is that carbon footprint issue so I'd try and eat what you can get locally when possible (in the winter, think root veg, like carrots and potatoes and the such).

Cheers!
